Sam and Martha Tolbert established Hillside Memorial Chapel in 1977 to serve Habersham County and the surrounding area. In 1982, Hillside moved to Washington Street at Laurel Drive, where it remained until 2007.

Our new state-of-the-art building nestles in the hillside across from St. Mark Catholic Church on Highway 197 South. Our chapel seats 325.

Hillside Gardens, our perpetual-care cemetery, has 10 developed acres with 15 acres resesrved for future use.
