Funeral services for Bobby “Bob” P. Carter, age 77 of Berkeley Lake, GA, will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Hillside Memorial Chapel.  Rev. Connie Berry will officiate with interment to follow the service in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Carter passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2019.

Born in Mullins, South Carolina on March 22, 1942, Mr. Carter was the son of the late Dr. John S. and Elsie Smith Carter.  Mr. Carter worked in advertising production and was retired from Randstad USA. Mr. Carter was a member of the First Methodist Church, Mullins, South Carolina. In addition to his parents, Mr. Carter is preceded in death by a brother, John Smith Carter, Jr.

Survivors include his wife Glenda Morrison Carter of Berkeley Lake, daughter and son in law Georgia and Gabe Griffin of Lawrenceville, son and daughter in law Brandon and Ellen Carter of Fort Mills, South Carolina, sister Rae Maria Floyd of Columbia, South Carolina, as well as grandchildren Harrison, Ryan and Emory.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service Saturday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
