Clairette (Saville) Parker - Holcomb

Funeral services for Clairette Saville Parker Holcomb, age 93 of Demorest, will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at Hillside Memorial Chapel.  Rev. Rick Cox and Rev. Anthony Shore will officiate with interment to follow the service in Memorial Park Cemetery, Gainesville.

Mrs. Holcomb passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019.

Born in Hall County on November 28, 1925, Mrs. Holcomb was the daughter of the late Ruben A. and Maude Lelia Smith Saville.  Mrs. Holcomb was a dental assistant for three years and was employed by Leece - Neville Motor Division for almost thirty years.  She attended Harvest Christian Church and Return Baptist Church and was a member of Community Baptist Church in Gainesville.  She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, yard work and caring for others.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Holcomb is preceded in death by her first husband Broadus Guy Parker, second husband Thomas Howard Holcomb, daughter June Harper, son in law Robert Harper, sisters Lucille White, Pauline Saville and Beaulah Davis Posey, brothers W. L. Saville, C. J. Saville, L. H. Saville and Floyd Saville.

Survivors include grandson Alan Grogan, step daughters Linda Edwards (James), Sandra Morris (David) and Judy Turner (Richard), step sons Ricky Holcomb and Tim Holcomb, seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, special friends Teri Meyer, Joyce and Roland Brooks and Charles and Jane Holcomb, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
