Dolores Helen (Minniti) Bethel

Funeral services for Dolores Helen Minniti Bethel, age 92 of Clarkesville will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Hillside Memorial Chapel.  Rev. Grady Walden will officiate with interment to follow the service in Yonah Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Bethel passed away September 19, 2019 following a period of declining health.

Born Chicago, Illinois on March 13, 1927, Mrs. Bethel was the daughter of the late Joseph Minniti and Helen Ada Henley Rose.  Before retirement, Dolores spent many years in apartment complex management for Sipal Realty.  She was a girl scout leader and she enjoyed arts and crafts, making porcelain dolls, gardening, and she was a skilled seamstress. Mrs. Bethel loved her animals, especially her beloved pets Baby and Sunshine.  Mrs. Bethel is preceded in death by her husband James “Dick” Bethel, father Joseph Minniti, mother Helen Ada Henley Rose and stepfather August “Gus” Rose.  

Survivors include daughter and son in law Jodie and Tony Seelig of Clarkesville, son Jerry Bethel of Nashville, TN, son and daughter in law James, Jr and Diana Bethel of Millen and son Joell Bethel of Murfreesboro, TN, grandchildren Tracey Bethel, Jim Bethel, Joey Bethel, Jack Bethel, A.J. Seelig (Heather), Andrew Seelig and Deeanne Seelig, and great grandchildren Sidney and Sophie Bethel and Zoey Bethel.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 25th from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
