Grace S. Karnes

Grace S. Karnes age 92 of Mt. Airy, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 6, 2020.

Born in Habersham County, Georgia on March 26, 1928, she was a daughter of the late T.A. & Arizona Littleton Dodd. Grace was a self-employed restaurant owner and had a great love for her family. She enjoyed working with her roses and other flowers. Grace was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie M. Karnes; sisters, Margie Franklin & Jane Dean; brothers, Charlie James Dodd & Ben M. Dodd.

Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, Pastor Jerry & Mary Karnes of Blairsville, GA; daughter & son-in-law, Gloretta Ramey & Dave of Cornelia, GA; 6 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; & 1 great-great grandchild.

In consideration of public health & safety, a private family graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 07, 2020 at Chopped Oak Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Jerry Karnes officiating.
