Rebal Adene (Underwood) Hicks

Funeral services for Rebal Adene Underwood Hicks, age 83 of Clarkesville will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Hillside Memorial Chapel.  Rev. Donald Grizzle, Rev. Bill Trotter and Rev. Dennis Taylor will officiate with interment to follow the service in Clarkesville Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Hicks passed away September 17, 2018.

Born in Hiawassee, Georgia on November 19, 1934, Mrs. Hicks was the daughter of the late Roy and Bonnie Allen Underwood.  Mrs. Hicks was was a homemaker and a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hicks is preceded in death by husband Wayne Hicks, daughter Denise Taylor, son in law Frank Taylor and sister Hazel U. Foster.  

Survivors include daughter and son in law Diane and Ron Ledford of Alto, brother Junior Underwood of Hiawassee, sister Bessie Gibson of Hiawassee, grandchildren Alisha and Takisha Taylor and Ryan Ledford (Jessie), as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
