Rebecca Brunson

Funeral services for Rebecca Brunson, age 84 of Cornelia will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Hillside Memorial Chapel.  Rev. Richard Pletsch will officiate with interment to follow in Hillside Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Brunson passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018.

Born in Tallulah Falls, Georgia on September 21, 1933, Mrs. Brunson was the daughter of the late Hammond L. and Mary Demore Winter.  Mrs. Brunson worked in the spinning department of Habersham Mills and she was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church.  

Survivors include daughter Laura Davis of Cornelia, son Danny Brunson of Alabama, sister Mary Ann Long of Conover, North Carolina, grandchildren Jenni, Jan, Leighann, Amy, and Daniel-Isaac, as well as seven great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 20th from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
