Ronald W. Waters

Memorial services for Ronald W. Waters, age 70 of Clarkesville will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Clarkesville United Methodist Church.

Mr. Waters passed away Monday, June 18, 2018 following an extended illness.

Mr. Waters was born in Douglasville, Georgia on March 1, 1948.  He was a United States Air Force Veteran having served in Vietnam.  Mr. Waters was a retired businessman and he was the Scoutmaster for Boy Scout, Troop 5 - Clarkesville for 20 years.  Mr. Waters was a member of Clarkesville United Methodist Church where he was also active in the Stephens Ministry and Emmaus Community.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Waters is preceded in death by his wife Brenda Ramsey Waters.

Survivors include his son Michael Ramsey Waters and wife Maria of Gainesville, daughter Connie Waters Crawford and husband Kenneth of Longmont, Colorado, sister and brother in law Trelle F. and Gary Poole, grandchildren Hennebry Waters, Ramsey Waters, Andrew Waters, Katherine Crawford and Robert Crawford, as well as two nephews and a niece.
