Alice Stewart Brown

Alice Stewart Brown, age 94, who recently moved to Georgia from San Antonio, Texas went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 07, 2021.

Born in Altoona, Iowa on July 16, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Elmer & Hazel Kenoyer Stewart. Alice was a homemaker, a wonderful Christian wife, mother, grandmother, & great-grandmother. She was a member of Brookhill Baptist Church in San Antonio, Texas.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six other siblings.

Survivors include her loving husband, Edward James Brown of Demorest; children, Stephen Neal Brown of Austin, TX; Darrell James Brown & wife, Cindy Brown of Houston, TX; Pennie Marie Brown Eddy & fiancé, Randy Pinkerton of Clarkesville, GA; Lori Dee Brown Lothringer & husband, Rodney Lothringer of Omaha, NE; brother, Earnest Stewart; sister, Kathleen Kay Stewart Fuller, both of IA; 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, other relatives, & friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Hillside Memorial Chapel with Pastor Aaron Treanor officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour on Wednesday. 

Interment will follow later on Wednesday, December 08, 2021 at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.

The family requests that all those in attendance for visitation & funeral to follow all guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control regarding Covid-19.
