Allene (Roberts) Morrison

Funeral services for Allene Roberts Morrison, age 84 of Clarkesville, will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Hillside Memorial Chapel.  Rev. Larry Free and Chaplain Rachel Kanaday will officiate with interment to follow the service at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the funeral service on Tuesday from 12:00 PM until the service hour.

Mrs. Morrison passed away on Friday, February 21, 2020.

Born in the Batesville Community on July 6, 1935, Mrs. Morrison was the daughter of the late Ardus Roberts and Ruth Benfield Roberts Wall.  She was a homemaker and she enjoyed crafting, sewing, reading and spending time with her family. Mrs. Morrison was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Morrison is preceded in death by her husband Arthur Morrison, brother Harold Roberts and son in law Jimmy Roach.  

Survivors include daughter Barbara Roach of Cleveland, daughters and sons in law Wanda and Wayne Thompson of Cornelia, Kathy and Gary Wert of Cumming, Cindy and Marvin Buffington of Gainesville, and Kathy and David Collins of Mt. Airy, son and daughter in law Mark and Allison Morrison of Clarkesville, 16 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren as well numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
