Anthony Robert Mineo, Jr.

Anthony Robert Mineo, Jr., age 26, of Cleveland, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. Born in Beverly, Massachusetts, on May 15, 1998, he was the beloved son of Anthony Robert Mineo, Sr. and Susan Hallinan Mineo of Cleveland.

Anthony attended Forsyth County Schools and was known for his passion for hockey, particularly as an avid fan of the Atlanta Gladiators. He had a deep love for animals and found joy in simple pleasures, such as swinging on his swing with his brothers, swimming, and anything related to Disney. One of his favorite pastimes was watching trains at the Cornelia train station.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Mary Hallinan and Santo and Gloria Mineo; his brother, Alec Michael Mineo; and aunts Susan K. Mineo, Diane M. Mineo, and Mary Hallinan.

In addition to his parents, Anthony is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Nicholas A. and Jessica Mineo of Winder; brother, Matthew P. Mineo of Kennesaw; aunts and uncles, Frank P. Mineo (Marie) of Osprey, FL, Julie Venedam (Dave) of Merrimack, NH, David A. Mineo of Salem, MA, William Hallinan, Jr. of Peabody, MA, Thomas Hallinan (Gale) of Peabody, MA, Anne Jean (Arthur) of Katy, TX, and Mary Jean Johnson (Paul) of Charlotte, NC; as well as numerous cousins, extended family, and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Hillside Memorial Chapel & Gardens.
