Mrs. Betty Coleman Parker Turner, age 89 of Cleveland, Georgia passed away Monday, December 19, 2022 at Laurel Lodge Assisted Living in Cleveland, Georgia.
A daughter of the late Patrick Lavaughn Coleman and Ettie Lochaby Coleman, she was born June 10, 1933 in Towns County, Georgia having lived most of her life in Habersham County. She was retired from Milliken Avalon Plant. She was a former member of Antioch Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Furman Parker, L.J. Howard and Carlton Turner.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Marvin Brewington of Demorest, Georgia, Penny and Jim Rogers of Ball Ground, Georgia and Judy and Hoyt Allison of Sautee, Georgia; two sons and daughter-in-law, Rick and Judy Parker of Mt. Airy, Georgia and Glenn Parker of Daytona Beach, Florida; grandchildren, Kelley Murray, Josh Parker, Megan Denington and Kyle Parker, eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Pat and Glenda Coleman of Gainesville, Florida; two nieces, Tammy and Dana.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 22, 2022, 11 o’clock a.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Pierce Mobley officiating. Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers, Kyle Parker, Josh Parker, Tyler Edwards, Brady Edwards, Nick Murray and Nic Denington.
The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com
Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Betty Coleman Parker Turner.
