Cammie Minyard Ramsey

Cammie Minyard Ramsey, age 59 of Mount Airy, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 29, 2022 following an extended illness.

Born in Demorest, Georgia on October 30, 1962, Cammie was a life-long native of Habersham County. She was a graduate of Habersham Central High School, Class of 1980 and retired from the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Most of all, Cammie adored her family. She was a loving daughter, devoted wife, dedicated mother, and doting Mimi to her two grandsons, Garrett & Austin. Cammie was a member of Hazel Creek Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ann Minyard; father, George Douglas Minyard; brothers, Dan Douglas Minyard & Jason Minyard; maternal grandparents, LeeRoy & Myrtis Mae Thurmond Stewart; & paternal grandparents, Rev. Herman & Cora Lee Harris Minyard.

Survivors include her loving husband of 41 years, William “Bill” H. Ramsey, Jr. of Mount Airy, GA; children, Casey & Amy Ramsey of Rocky Face, GA; Brittany & Joshua Elliott of Guyton, GA; grandsons, Garrett Elliott of Guyton, GA; Austin Cooley of Rocky Face, GA; step-mother, Anita Minyard of Noble, OK; sister, Kerry Minyard of Oklahoma City, OK; sister-in-law, Vicky Ash Minyard of Cleveland, GA; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, & a host of friends.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 01, 2022 at Clarkesville City Cemetery with Rev. Anthony Shore & Rev. Kenneth McEntire officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, October 01, 2022.
