Cindy (Franklin) Freeman

Cindy Franklin Freeman went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 22, 2026. She graduated from Habersham Central High School in 1988, University of Georgia 1992 and Mercer School of Law in 1995. Cindy has spent 30 plus years practicing law in Habersham County.

Cindy was born on May 1, 1970 the daughter of Doug & Jane Barron Franklin. She is survived by parents Doug & Jane Franklin, husband Joel Freeman, son Zachary Freeman, daughter Lillie Grace Freeman, Uncle Jerry Barron of Batesville, Aunt Patsy Franklin Mixon of Westminster, SC and cousins.

Cindy was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Sion & Lillie Marie Lovell Barron of the Batesville Community and paternal grandparents Claude & Evelyn Martin Franklin of Demorest, GA.

Funeral Services were held at Hillside Memorial Chapel on Saturday, March 28, 2026 with final resting place at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
