Clinton Van Roy Sprinkle

Clinton Van Roy Sprinkle, age 87 of Clarkesville, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024.

Born in Lodi, Ohio on January 16, 1937, Mr. Sprinkle was the son of the late Alton and Ruth Scaggs Sprinkle.  He was a drill press operator with Patterson Pump in Toccoa and was a member of Joy Baptist Church.  Mr. Sprinkle was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting but he loved to fish.  He was also an avid woodworker.  Mr. Sprinkle was a devoted family man who loved his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and his church family.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Sprinkle is preceded in death by brother Floyd Sprinkle and sisters Neva Stein and Sylvia Kozel. 

Survivors include his wife Gladys Stancil Sprinkle of Clarkesville, daughter and son in law Pat and Fred Stewart of Mt. Airy, son and daughter in law Kevin and Christy Sprinkle of Demorest, grandchildren Leslie Stewart, Adam Stewart (Kimberly), Austin Sprinkle (Marnie) and Carson Sprinkle, great grandchildren Gavin Martin, Kasidee Stewart and Ashlyn Stewart, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 2 :00 PM at Joy Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Goss and Rev. Jan Devereaux, officiating.  Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 15, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
