Elizabeth Alice Stokes Stafford, age 34 of Toccoa, passed away November 6, 2025.
Born in Gainesville, Georgia on August 29, 1991, Mrs. Stafford was the daughter of Gerald G. Stokes, Jr. and the late Helen VanDalsen Stokes. Elizabeth was a homemaker and a wonderful mother. She was also an animal lover, especially her dogs and cats. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Stafford is preceded in death by grandfather Gerald G. Stokes, Sr. and brother Jason Robert Stokes.
Survivors include her father and stepmother Gerald. G and Robin Stokes of Clarkesville, husband James Lee Stafford of Toccoa, sons Ryan Jason Stafford and James Lee Stafford, Jr. both of Toccoa, brother Gerald G. Stokes, III (Ashley) of Savannah, grandmother Alice P. Stokes of Americus, as well as extended family members.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Americus, Georgia. The family will receive friends at Hillside Memorial Chapel on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 5-7 PM.
