Florine Kelley Justus

Florine Kelley Justus, age 90 of Alto, Georgia took her heavenly flight home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 06, 2023.

Born in Banks County, Georgia on August 26, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Carl & Gertrude Brown Kelley. Florine was a military wife having spent many years following her husband’s career in the United States Air Force. She was a member of Hollywood Baptist Church where she faithfully served in various capacities with church work. Florine & her husband, Bob also worked in the mission field at home and abroad to help further Kingdom Growth leading others to Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Boyd Kelley and by her sister, Mozelle Smith.

Survivors include her loving husband of 75 years, Bob Newton Justus of Alto, GA; daughter & son-in-law, Amy Justus-Pointer & Keith Pointer of Alto, GA; grandchildren, Alex Pointer of Gainesville, GA; & Kelley Pointer of Alto, GA; great-grandchildren, Isabella & Brooklin Pointer; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, & a host of friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 10, 2023 at Hollywood Baptist Church with Pastor Chuck Johnson & Dr. Don Samples officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Mr. Eddie Carroll officiating at the graveside.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall.
