Garnette Reginold "Reggie" Wade

Garnette Reginold "Reggie" Wade, age 80 of Toccoa, Georgia passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023.

Born on December 29, 1942, he was a son of the late Travis, Jr. & Catherine Ina Wiley Wade. Reggie served his country proudly in the United States Army in Seoul, Korea during the Vietnam War. He retired from TenCate Nicolon with many years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Garnette Devin Wade.

Survivors include his wife, Catherine Franklin Wade of Toccoa, GA; grandchildren, Brooke Wade; Brett Wade; great-grandchildren, Cason, Raelyn and Jaxon; uncles, aunts, other relatives, in-laws, & friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2023 at Hillside Memorial Chapel in Clarkesville with Rev. Tony Goss officiating. Interment will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Grant Reeves Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until the service hour on Friday, May 26, 2023.
