Gary Leland Franklin

Gary Leland Franklin, age 68, passed away on August 28, 2024.

Born in Demorest, Georgia on June 23, 1956, Gary was the son of the late Harold H. and Eula Belle Gribble Franklin.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers Marion Herbert Franklin and Jerry Reed Franklin.  Gary was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church. 

Survivors include brother David and Tina Franklin, sisters Ellen and Don Parham, Esther and Sam Fullerton, Nancy and Carter Haley and Jennifer and Mike Hensley, special niece Catherine Franklin Schueman and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. 

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Clarkesville City Cemetery with Rev. Hobie Wood and Dr. Steve Woodworth, officiating. 

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center for the wonderful care Gary received.
