Gary Dale Bryson

Gary Dale Bryson, age 67 of Clarkesville, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 02, 2022.

Born in Demorest, Georgia on May 15, 1955, he was a son of Edna Owens Bryson of Demorest & the late F. Ray Bryson. Gary was a graduate of Habersham Central High School, Class of 1972. He was retired as a Sergeant after 18 years of dedicated service with the Toccoa Police Department. In his spare time, Gary was an avid outdoorsman and gardener. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughter & fiance, Shannon Bryson & Josh Sosebee of Mount Airy, GA; son & daughter-in-law, Evan & Kimberly Bryson of Baldwin, GA; step-son, Israel Segers of Clarkesville, GA; mother, Edna Owens Bryson of Demorest, GA; brothers & their spouses,  Harold Bryson (Cheryl Lusnia) of Cleveland, GA; Steve Bryson (Natalie) of Mount Airy, GA; grandchildren, Salayna McClanahan, Aralynn McClanahan, & Jack Segers; nephews, Alex & Luke Bryson.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 07, 2022 at Hillside Memorial Chapel with Rev. Shane Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Victory Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
