George Louis Charriez, Jr.

George Louis Charriez Jr, age 76 of Jefferson, Georgia passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024.

Born in New York, New York on November 7, 1947, he was the son of the late George Louis Charriez, Sr & Hilda Amelia Montalvo Charriez. George was owner and operator of Mr. Sooty’s Chimney Cleaning Service in White County for over 25 years. During his career he served over three thousand customers.  Most of all, George was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his son Daniel Charriez.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria Velazquez Charriez of Jefferson, children, Mark Charriez, Jefferson Ga., George L. & Lauren Charriez, Jefferson Ga., Michelle & Roger Harris, Cleveland, Ga. , Marisa Sheffield, Jefferson, Ga. Survivors also include brother Roland Charriez, Plattekill, New York , sister and brother in law Brenda & Lou Bellos Plattekill, New York.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, March 2, 2024 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 38 Darnel Road, Jefferson, Georgia, 30549
