Glenn Chastain

Glenn Chastain, age 80 of Alto, passed away November 21, 2022.

Born in Hall County on May 11, 1942, Mr. Chastain was the son of the late James and Cleo Allen Chastain.  He was a carpenter as well as a fender and body repair man.  He had a love for cars, especially NASCAR and other racing.  Glenn also enjoyed mud bogging, a passion he and his daughter enjoyed together.  Glenn loved westerns and he was a jack of all trades.  he was of the Baptist faith.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Chastain is preceded in death by brother Junior Chastain.

Survivors include his wife Grace Chitwood Chastain of Alto, sons Tony Chastain of Lula and Rodney Chastain of Sevierville, TN, daughter Lynn Chastain, sister Shirley Goetchius of Clarkesville and grandchildren Brianna Chastain, Zachary Chastain, Cheyenne Chastain, Adrian Chastain, Ashley Chastain and Dalton Chastain.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 3rd at Hillside Memorial Chapel with Rev. Larry Bryson, officiating.
