Harry Whitson Obituary

Harry Leroy Whitson, age 85 of Alto, passed away February 19, 2021.

Born on June 13, 1935 in Columbus, Ohio, Mr. Whitson was the son of the late Herbert and Francis Gillman Whitson. Mr. Whitson was the owner of Bi-Lo Paint and Wall Paper in Florida and he was a United States Navy Veteran. In addition to his parents, Mr. Whitson is preceded in death by brothers Richard Whitson and Robert Whitson and sisters Barbara Franklin and Patricia Morris.

Survivors include son Jeffrey M. Whitson of Naples, Florida, Ricki W. Whitson (Lucy) of Hollywood, Florida and Christopher D. Whitson (Sheryl) of Alto, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Private graveside services were held in Hillside Gardens Cemetery.
