Janie Cantrell (Baty) Savage

Mrs. Janie Lee Cantrell Savage, age 68 of Baldwin, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021.

Born in Royston on May 2, 1952, Mrs. Savage was a homemaker and had worked in several customer service related fields.  She attended The Torch.   Mrs. Savage is preceded in death by her mother Cora Lee Baty and son David Savage, Jr. 

Survivors include her husband David Savage of Baldwin, daughter Donna Cantrell Shook of Mt. Airy, daughter in law Lisa Perry (Scott) of Turtle Town, TN, sister Tammy Baty Walker (Kenny) of Rabun Gap, grandchildren Adam Ivester (Catie) of Mt. Airy, Emilee Blackburn of Clarkesville, Candace Johnson (Barry) of Helen, Lacrecia Savage of Turtle Town, TN, Hunter Perry of Turtle Town, TN, Destiney Perry of Turtle Town, TN, great grandchildren Kane Ivester, Cevyn Johnson and Raveynn Johnson, nephews Leon Walker of Rabun Gap and Justin Walker of Rabun Gap, and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Hillside Memorial Chapel with interment to follow the service in Hillside Gardens Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, February 5, 2021 from 5-8 PM.
