Jimmy William Seabolt

Jimmy William Seabolt, age 59 of Demorest, Georgia passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at his residence.

Born in Demorest, Georgia on November 10, 1963, he was the son of Johnny William and the late Barbara Sue Whitworth Seabolt. Jimmy was owner/operator of Seabolt Logging for over 30 years before retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed deer and turkey hunting as well as buying and trading at the local farmer’s sale with his son, Jarrad. Most of all, Jimmy treasured precious time with his family, especially his grandson, Drake. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Tina Seabolt and nephew, Jeffrey Scott Lewis.

Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Rhoda McFarlin Seabolt of Demorest, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Derek Dillard of Clayton, GA; son, Jarrad Seabolt of Demorest, GA; grandson, Drake Henry Dillard of Clayton, GA; father and spouse, Johnny William and Betty Seabolt of Demorest, GA; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 01, 2023 at Hillside Memorial Chapel with Rev. Austin Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in the Habersham Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.
