Joyce Ann (Bash) Wood

Joyce Ann Bash Wood, age 78 of Clarkesville, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020.

Born in Washington Township, Pennsylvania on April 6, 1942, Mrs. Wood was the daughter of the late Riley and Ann Bash.  Mrs. Wood was employed with the Government Motion Pictures Department in Washington, DC in her younger years, later working for Standard-Coosa-Thatcher Cotton Mill.  Mrs. Wood was a homemaker and a member of Harvest Christian Church.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wood is preceded in death by husband James Ronald “Ron” Wood and brother Bob Bash.

Survivors include son and daughter in law Ronnie and Teresa Wood of Statham, daughter and son in law Lesa and Ed Lee of Atlanta, grandchildren Ansleigh Garrett (Wes) of Bogart and Katie Stallings (Nick) of Winder, great grandchildren Lana Stallings and Gavin Stallings, as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, November 13, 2020 at Hillside Memorial Chapel with Cecil Highfield and Linwood Smith officiating.  Interment will follow the service in Hillside Gardens Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday prior to the service from 12-1 PM
