Kenny Brevard Obituary

Kenneth “Kenny” Allen Brevard Jr - dedicated husband, father, brother, and friend passed away unexpectedly on February 21, 2024 surrounded by family and friends at Emory Medical Center in Atlanta, GA.

Kenny was born on November 16, 1968 to Kenneth Sr and Peggy Brevard of Camden TN. He graduated from Central High School in 1987.  Kenny graduated from North GA Tech both as a HVAC and Tool and Die Technician. Kenny was a man that knew the value of hard work and the importance of honest. He worked for Watson Heating and Air and BJ’s Mechanical as well other construction companies in North East Georgia.

Growing up in Camden, Kenny was active in the Boy Scouts and DECA. He played Little League Baseball, Football and was on the boxing team. He worked at the local radio station and on his family farm.

Kenny is survived by his wife and partner of 22 Years Annie; his five children, Marley, Eddie, Chrisma, Hunter, and Brooke; his mother, Peggy Norwood Brevard; nephew, Wesley Summers; niece Nicole Summers Dyer and her son Braylon Dyer; and cousin Kellen Jenkins as well as many extended friends and family. Kenny was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Allen Brevard SR; his sister Janeen Brevard Summer; his aunt Kala Denise McDaniel; and his close friend Robert “Bobby” Mcshain Browning.

Kenny was an avid outdoorsman and he passed his passion for hunting and fishing down to his children. Kenny was devoted to his children, encouraging them all to be adventurous in their interests. He donated countless hours to the Habersham County FFA Livestock program where his kids all showed animals at the county, state, and national levels.

Kenny instilled in his children the importance of resilience, the power of kindness, and the true value of integrity. He showed them how to be brave in the face of adversity, stand strong in the face of immorality, and stay humble in the face of accolades. He didn’t just teach them how to live but how to live well with purpose and passion.

Kenny loved music and being around close friends. He had a devilish sense of humor, always quick with a joke and a smile. He was loved and respected by all he came in contact with. Kenny will be missed by all the lives he touched. Please keep his family and friends in your prayers.
