Leslie "Buddy" DeVaughn Kennedy

Leslie “Buddy” DeVaughn Kennedy, age 76 of Sautee-Nacoochee, passed away on January 29, 2025.

Born in Bradenton, Florida on October 16, 1948, Buddy was the son of the late Herbert and Stella Westberry Martin.  He worked in maintenance for Fieldale Farms, Inc.  Buddy was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and anything fishing, as well as camping.  More than anything, Buddy loved being surrounded by his family, especially his grandbabies.  In addition to his parents, Buddy was preceded in death by sister Sylvia Chandler.

Survivors include his wife Diana K. Fulwider Kennedy of Sauteee-Nacoochee, sons Jerry Kennedy (Carissa) of Clarkesville, Daniel Fox (Ina) of Bradenton, Florida, James Cowsert (Stephanie) of Parish, Florida and Andrew Fox (Debbie) of Parker, Colorado, daughters Tammy Garrett (Ben) and Renae Kennedy of Sautee-Nacoochee and Tammy Taylor (Ron) of Parish, Florida, brothers Gerald Kennedy of Sauteee-Nacoochee and Randy Martin of Cleveland, as well as 23 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
The family will hold a private service at a later date.
