Lloyd Barron, Sr.

Lloyd Barron, Sr., age 83 of Demorest, passed away March 1, 2025.

Born on October 7, 1941, Mr. Barron was the son of the late Isaac T. and Lizzie Kastner Barron.  Lloyd was the owner and operator of Barrons Used Cars in Demorest.  Mr. Barron was an avid collector of all things old, both automobiles and antique furniture.  He was also an avid gardener.  Mr. Barron was a member of Oaky Mountain Church.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Barron is preceded in death by son Randall Scott “Randy” Barron, brothers Willie Barron, Cosby Barron and Terrell Barron, Jr., and sister Mildred Barron.  

Survivors include his wife of 61 years Barbara Kennedy Barron of Demorest, son Lloyd Barron, Jr. and wife Monica of Marietta, grandchildren Scott Barron (Jaime) of Maitland, FL, Sydney Barron of Austin, TX, Grant Barron of Sandy Springs and Paula Molina Garcia of Marietta, three great grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM, Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Hillside Memorial Chapel with Rev. Brion Williams officiating.  Interment will follow the service in Hillside Gardens Cemetery.  The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
