Mary Catherine "Cathy" Dobbs

Mary Catherine Dobbs, age 52 of Alto, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2025.

Born in Demorest on March 20, 1973, Cathy was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Betty Jean Free Smith.  Cathy had worked in retail in several capacities through her working career. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include daughter and son in law Amber and Matias Gaspar of Cornelia, son Christopher Dobbs of Alto, grandchildren Isaiah Gaspar and Israel Gaspar, as well as numerous extended family members. 

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, November 28, 2025 at Hillside Memorial Chapel with Rev. Larry Free officiating.  Interment will follow the service in Hillside Gardens Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, prior to the service from 2-3 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that contributions be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
