Murphy Regina Cook age 79 of Carnesville, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, July 06, 2021.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia on October 26, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Elmer Lee Brooks & Jewel Lee Biddy Brooks Pankey. Mrs. Cook was retired from the hotel industry as a manager with many years of service.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jackson B. Cook; brothers, Stephen L. Pankey, Elmer C. Brooks, & sister, Betty P. Smith.

Survivors include her children, Jeffery Daniel Pankey of Rome, GA; daughters & son-in-law, Gina R. & Bill Hale of Covington, GA; Terresa Bowen of Carnesville, GA; step-children, Paul Cook, Jeffrey Cook, both of Thomson, GA; Michael Cook of Augusta, GA; Jackie Horne of Hiawassee, GA; sister, Brenda Barbosa of Fayetteville, GA; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren & great-great grandchildren.
