Neil Ross Obituary

Neil A. Ross, age 47 of Demorest, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021.

Born in Gainesville, Georgia on October 4, 1973, Neil was the son of Gloria McKinnon Ross Waters and the late Edward Ross.  Neil was a self employed businessman and he had an entrepreneurial spirit.  He had built structures on and traveled to every continent on the planet with the exception of Antarctica.  Neil had a great interest in guns and marksmanship and he loved to spend time outdoors.  Neil was a stoic kind of guy and enjoyed making things and working with his hands.

In addition to his mother, Neil is survived by loved ones, Deborah Gale of Demorest, Michael Gale (Morgan Paysour) of Atlanta, Hannah Gale (Jeremy Landers) of Canton, brother Ted Ross of Gillsville, sisters Carolyn Myers of Jacksonville, FL and Jennifer Ross of Asheville, NC, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and his beloved dog Moxie.  

A private service was held.   A public Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made in memory of Neil Ross to: Tim Lee Boys and Girls Club, ℅ Wade Rhodes, 215 Washington Street, Clarkesville, GA 30523.
