Mrs. Nola Frances Woodall Wilhite, age 93, of Elberton, GA, peacefully entered into rest on Monday, February 27, 2023, at Habersham Medical Center in Demorest, GA with her family at her side. 

Mrs. Wilhite was born on July 3, 1929, in Cedar Bluff, AL, daughter of the late William Arthur Woodall and Rhoda Lee McCullough Woodall. She was of the Baptist faith and a lifelong homemaker. Nola loved her family dearly, and her favorite name was “MamMaw”. She will be remembered for her quick whit, ability to tell jokes, and her amazing sense of humor, which she held on to until the very end.

Survivors include her children: Louise Cooper of Anchorage, AL, Jesse “Rip” Keef and his wife Patsy of Alto, GA, and Tommy Keef and his wife Charlene of Easley, SC; sister and best friend, Judy Westbrook and her husband Jerry of Summerville, GA; brothers, Benson Woodall of Adairsville, GA and Jerry Mack Woodall of Rome, GA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.  

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death her beloved husband, Linton Herschel “Lin” Wilhite, Jr.; daughter, to whom Nola was a very devoted caretaker, Tonya Lynn Wilhite; and siblings: Emma Harrelson, Hattie Hammond, and Johnny Woodall.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 1, from 10:00-10:45a.m. at Berry Funeral Home. Cryptside services will follow at 11:00a.m. at the Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum conducted by the Rev. Tim Adams. Active pallbearers will include grandsons Dan Keef, Matt Keef, Jeff Tinsley, Tony Burnett, Chris Keef, great-grandson Noah Burnett, great-nephew Scott Bonds, and special family friend Tanner Moore. Honorary pallbearers will include great-grandson Kyler Keef and special family friend Jim Amburgey. 

Flowers are accepted and contributions may be made in her memory to the charity of one’s choice.
