Rev. Brion K. Williams, age 68 of Clarkesville, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025.
Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on January 27, 1957, Brion was the son of the late William C. and Freda Scott Williams. Brion was retired as senior ranger from the Georgia Forestry Commission where he served for 28 years. He was currently a member and for the last 26 years has served as Pastor at Oakey Mountain Baptist Church. A man of many talents, Brion was a HAM Radio operator and enjoyed fishing, knife making and woodworking. Above all else, Brion was a Servant. He loved his family and he loved his church family.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years Linda Gail Williams of Clarkesville, daughter and son in law Kelley and Bryan Whitmire of Gainesville, daughter Katie Williams of Clarkesville, sister Tamara Webb of Ringold, niece Kayla Frost (Brantley) of Winder, as well as numerous extended family, his beloved Oakey Mountain Family and his loyal companion “Oscar”.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Oakey Mountain Baptist Church with the Deacon Body, officiating. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Oakey Mountain Baptist Church on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 from 5-8 PM.
