Roger Wade Church

Roger Wade Church, 74, of Clarkesville, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 16, 2021.

The son of the late Lester Wade Church and Rosaleen Murray Church, Roger was born on July 3, 1946.  After 33 years of service, Roger retired from Habersham Mills in 1999 and went on to a new career in trucking.  In his spare time, Roger enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and teasing his grandkids. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Norma Jean Church Lovell. 

Roger is survived by his wife, JoAnn Church of Clarkesville, GA; children, Ethan & Jan Church of Tiger, GA; Aaron & Rhonda Church of Clarkesville, GA; Elizabeth & Aaron Karp of Decatur, GA; sisters Virginia Eller of Clarkesville, GA; Linda Perry of Mt. Airy, GA; grandchildren, Josh Sosebee; Colton & Jessica Sosebee; Maddi Rose Church; Conor Church; Allie Church; Eleanor Karp; Mae Karp; and nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 am on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Habersham Cemetery with Reverend Scott Cates officiating.
