Ruthelene Dixon McEntire

Ruthelene Dixon McEntire, age 88 of Clarkesville, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 19, 2020 following an extended illness.

Born in Clarkesville, Georgia on May 14, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Willard Carl & Thelma Harrison Dixon. Ruthelene married Walter Jay McEntire on April 28, 1950 and they shared many wonderful years together until his passing in October of 1993. She was retired from Habersham Mills (Russell) Corporation with many years of dedicated service. She was a faithful & dedicated member of Fairfield Baptist Church for many years. In her spare time, Ruthelene enjoyed sewing and word search puzzles. 

In addition to her parents & husband, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Latrelle Dixon English & her brother, Willard Howard Dixon.

Survivors include many nieces & nephews, other relatives, & friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Hillside Memorial Chapel with Rev. Keith Allison & Rev. Kenneth McEntire officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairfield Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour on Wednesday.
