Thomas James Kukla

Thomas James Kukla, age 61 of Gainesville, Florida, passed away February 19, 2025.

Born in Jersey City, New Jersey on April 13, 1963, Mr. Kukla was the son of the late William and Julia White Kukla.  He was an operations manager with Volkert, Inc.  Mr. Kukla was a devout Catholic, loved music and playing guitar.  Thomas was a super intelligent man with a wonderful sense of humor.  He was very compassionate, always willing to help anyone who entered his life, and at the same time would always tell you the truth even if it hurt.  Thomas will fondly be remembered for saying, “We’re not here for a long time, but we’re here for a good time.” 

Survivors daughter and son in law Tiffany and Anthony Scillieri, brother William Kukla, sisters Jean Eid, Cheryl Kukla and Anna Overfield, as well as grandchildren Ethan Callan and Jada Callan.

A private service will be held at a later date.
