Timothy McAllister

Funeral services for Timothy McAllister, age 65 of Mt. Airy will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Hillside Memorial Chapel.  Mr. Joey Martin will officiate with interment to follow the service in Hillside Gardens Cemetery.  

Mr. McAllister passed away Saturday, September 7, 2019.

Born in Stephens County on June 24, 1954, Mr. McAllister was the son of the late Cleo Dock and Margaret Lynn Carthern McAllister.  After high school, Tim enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany.  After his honorable discharge, Tim graduated  from Spartan College in North Carolina with a degree in X-Ray Technology.  He was a X-Ray technician and had retired from Northeast Georgia Medical Center. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish.  Tim enjoyed NASCAR, classic cars, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his family.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother James Dock McAllister and sister Naomi McAllister Skelton.

Survivors include his wife Anny McAllister of Mt. Airy, son Samuel Dock McAllister of Mt. AIry, sister and brother in law Judy M. and Winston Jones of Demorest, sister in law Adermis McAllister of Demorest, as well as three nieces and one nephew

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, September 9, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
