Trent Smith

Trent Smith, age 32 of Chattanooga, TN, formerly of Clarkesville, passed away Monday, September 7, 2020.

Trent was born on May 11, 1988.  He was the son of Sharon and Victor Ben of Murphy, NC and Wayne and Rana Smith of Demorest.  Trent graduated from Habersham Central High School, earned his BA from Piedmont College and was a Certified EMT.  He was currently a Technical Services Manager for Amazon.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents Virgil and Daisy Griffith.

Survivors include his parents, Sharon and Victor Ben of Murphy, NC and Wayne and Rana Smith of Demorest, brothers Trevor Smith (Rose Beth) of Greenville, SC, Kevin Smith of Murphy, NC and Jacob Darling (Haley) of Clarkesville, sister Jenna Smith of Clemson, SC, grandparents Donald and Joyce Smith of Saluda, SC, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Hillside Memorial Chapel, Clarkesville.
